So we have a problem in this country. A lot of us buy foreign cars. Why? Is it because they are better? They get better gas mileage?I am going to debate on the behalf of American cars obviously.....
Ok Let's start with the gas mileage. On an average Chevy and Ford gas mileage either match Toyota or Honda or beat them. Here comes the argument from the Prius owners. (Prius owners grumble with anger) Ok the Prius get great gas mileage in the city, not so much on the highway and is environmentally friendly. We all have seen the Prius commercial look below.
But Chevy has it own answer to problem. It's name is the Chevy Volt. The Chevy Volt is an PHEV, which stands for Plug in hybrid Electric Vehicle. Uses no gasoline for 40 miles and then uses a combustion engine just to power the electric motor. You are look at MPG of 203 miles.
With all the problems Toyota is having, this is American time to shine. With all new models coming out, Baron (a financial paper) said "GM IS BACK!" I hope this is true....
American Cars Rule!!!!! I am excited for the launch of the Chevy Volt in November, and for other American cars coming out.

We will continue with this debate. Any comments, questions leave in the space below...
